Bosnia and Herzegovina Accedes to International Convention for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants

On October 10, 2017, Bosnia and Herzegovina deposited its instrument of accession to the International Convention for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants of December 2, 1961.

The convention, as revised in 1991, entered into force in Bosnia on November 10, 2017. On that date, Bosnia and Herzegovina became a member of the International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants (UPOV), founded by the convention.
