On June 11, 2012, the Bosnian market inspectors, in cooperation with the police, discovered a production plant for counterfeit Adidas sneakers in the city of Banja Luka, northern Bosnia.
Various production materials, fake labels and sneakers valued at approximately EUR 3,000 (USD 3,775) were discovered during the raid.
Legal proceedings have been initiated against Danko Jankovic and Djordje Jankovic, owners of the company called Step. The authorities suspect the illegal production has been underway since 2010.
