Albanian Citizen Fined for Unauthorized Publication of 'Mein Kampf'

On March 7, the Albanian Copyright Office fined Albanian citizen Belina H. approximately EUR 750 (USD 994) for the unauthorized publication of Adolf Hitler’s infamous memoir Mein Kampf in Albanian.

Germany’s state Bavaria holds the rights to this work as the legal successor of the main Nazi publishing house Eher-Verlag. The text is scheduled to enter the public domain on January 1, 2016, 70 years after the author’s death.
