Counterfeit Apparel, Sneakers, Perfumes Destroyed in Bulgaria
The customs officials at Svilengrad, southern Bulgaria, recently witnessed the destruction of considerable quantities of counterfeit apparel, sneakers and perfumes.
The destroyed goods included 2,256 textile products (shirts, sweaters, T-shirts, jeans, socks) bearing the marks of Hilfiger, Gucci, Polo, Armani, Lacoste, Adidas, Louis Vuitton, among others; 952 pairs of sneakers; and 4,084 eaux de toilette and perfumes bearing the marks of Paco Rabanne, Nina Ricci, Calvin Klein and D&G.
The goods were seized at the Kapitan Andreevo border crossing point, southern Bulgaria, and were intended for sale in Bulgaria and other EU member states.
