Hungarian Customs Seize Fake Laundry Detergent

The Hungarian National Tax and Customs Administration (NTCA) officials recently seized fake laundry detergent and fabric softener bearing the trademarks of leading consumer goods companies, while inspecting a warehouse outside the town of Tompa in southern Hungary, near the Kelebija border crossing point with Serbia.

The warehouse owner stated that he bought the goods, believed to be worth approximately EUR 9,000 (USD 10,600), in Budapest.

The investigation is underway.
