Ukraine Customs Destroy Three Tons of Counterfeit Goods

Almost three tons of counterfeit goods, worth approximately EUR 91,800 (USD 117,000), have recently been destroyed by the Ukrainian customs officials in the southern Crimea region of the country.

The goods included apparel, footwear and razor replacement cartridges bearing the marks of Nike, Wrangler, Lacoste, Boss, Gucci, Harley Davidson, Winx Club, Puma, Gillette Fusion, Gillette MACH3 Turbo and Gillette Fusion Power.

The apparel and footwear were destroyed with a cutting machine and the razor replacement cartridges with a pressing machine. The waste was packed into bags and buried at a solid waste landfill.
