Romanian Customs Seize EUR 485,000 Worth of Counterfeits

During regular controls on December 2, 2010, the Romanian customs officials at the port of Constanta Sud, eastern Romania, seized a considerable quantity of athletic goods suspected of being counterfeit, worth EUR 243,000 (USD 313,728).
On December 7, 2010, the customs officials at the same port seized 9,500 perfume bottles suspected of being counterfeit, worth approximately EUR 242,000 (USD 312,437).
In both instances the goods were seized on ships traveling from Dubai to Ukraine.
