Serbian Customs Seize Fake Apparel, Accessories, Footwear
In the time period April 28 — May 14, 2018, Serbian Customs officials seized over 30,600 items of apparel, more than 280 pairs of footwear, around 400 accessories, 1,000 labels, around 350 kg of fabric and over 40 kg of buttons believed to be counterfeit.
The goods are believed to infringe numerous trademarks, including Levi’s®, Lacoste®, Gucci®, Guess®, Tommy Hilfiger®, Diesel®, Dsquared2®, Stone Island®, Philipp Plein®, Adidas®, Nike®, Moncler®, Puma®, Napapijri®, Polo®, Armani®, Mickey Mouse®, Chanel®, Pepe Jeans®, Louis Vuitton®, Hello Kitty®, Minnie Mouse®, Zara®, FC Barcelona®, PAW Patrol® and Spiderman®.
The goods were seized on eight different occasions at the Gradina border crossing point with Bulgaria, on a highway checkpoint in southern Serbia, in the town of Subotica in northern Serbia and in the capital of Belgrade.
