Serbian Customs Seize Counterfeit Apparel, Anti-Impotence Drugs

The Serbian customs officials have recently seized considerable quantities of textile goods and anti-impotence drugs bearing well-known brand names, believed to be counterfeit.

On July 22, the customs officials at the border crossing point Gostun, southwestern Serbia, seized 3,000 anti-impotence tablets bearing Man King, Male Best, Kamagra, Cialis and Levitra marks, worth approximately EUR 8,000 (USD 10,600). The goods were found in a car with Serbian license plates.

On August 2, the customs officials at the border crossing point Kotroman, western Serbia, seized textile goods (shorts, T-shirts, pajamas, tracksuits, jackets) and accessories (wallets, belts, bags) bearing Adidas, Nike, Gucci, Armani, Tommy Hilfiger and Burberry marks, worth approximately EUR 13,500 (USD 18,000). The goods were found in a truck with Bosnian license plates.
