Bosnian Customs Seize Counterfeit Duracell Batteries

On October 25, 2012, the authorities from the Customs Sector of the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina seized 2,848 counterfeit batteries bearing the Duracell mark.

The officials at the customs office in Tuzla, northeastern Bosnia, seized the batteries, which arrived in a container from China and were intended for a local company based in Bijeljina, northeastern Bosnia.

The goods are expected to be destroyed soon.
