Having been dedicated to protecting IP in Eastern Europe and the former USSR region for almost three decades, mainly working with established businesses and multinational corporations, we like to use our experience to also help startups and small, emerging ventures identify, protect and exploit their valuable intangible assets. Our firm started as a one-man business 30 years ago (watch our story), so we are well aware of all the different types of work that need to be done and all the hurdles that need to be jumped for a small new business to become a successful one.

Under our IP2START® initiative, a mix of lawyers from our offices provide free initial IP advice to new entrepreneurs who may not know much about the opportunities that the IP system offers and may not have enough resources to hire a lawyer. We will help you devise an action plan to protect your idea, product or service, increase the value of your IP assets, and develop an effective IP strategy to grow your business.

If you are located in one of the cities or countries where we have offices, we will schedule a meeting, and if not, we will arrange a call. Depending on the industry and your unique business plan, the initial IP2START® consultation will consist of the assessment of your venture’s IP potentials and gaps and tailor-made IP recommendations.
