Croatian Customs Seize and Destroy Counterfeit Apparel

On September 4, 2009, Croatia’s Customs confirmed they seized 33,925 clothing items of brands such as Burberry, Gucci, Adidas, Chanel, Lacoste, Dolce Gabanna, and Armani. Some of the items were found to be genuine and were released.
Others were shredded. For example, 85 shirts, 315 pairs of trousers and 25 tracksuits of counterfeit Armani and Emporio Armani goods were shredded into pieces at the customs warehouse.
