Romanian Customs Seize Counterfeit Clothing, Footwear

On July 12, 2016, Romanian customs officials in Giurgiu, southern Romania, made several seizures of products believed to be counterfeit, the total value of which is estimated at EUR 11,000 (USD 12,000).

The seized products included 1,258 pieces of clothing and footwear believed to infringe Versace, Chanel, Gucci and Cavali trademarks.

The goods originated in Turkey and were intended for the Romanian market.
