Bulgarian Customs Seize Counterfeit Smartphones, Sneakers

Bulgarian customs officials at the Sofia airport have recently seized 1,000 counterfeit smartphones bearing the logo of the world’s leading information technology company. The fake goods, which will be destroyed soon, originated in Hong Kong and were intended for the Bulgarian market.

On a separate occasion, the customs officials in the northwestern Bulgarian town of Lom seized 3,000 pairs of counterfeit Nike sneakers, which were discovered in a truck with Bulgarian license plates headed for Great Britain.
